What Is The Working Principle Of A Pulsating Vacuum Sterilizer

May.11.2024

In hospital applications, the pulsating vacuum sterilizer achieves the purpose of sterilization mainly through the physical characteristics of releasing a large amount of latent heat when saturated steam is condensed, so as to keep the items to be sterilized in a humid and high temperature state. The pulsating vacuum sterilizer is suitable for the sterilization of glassware, metal instruments, dressings, clothing, etc. However, the degree of electromechanical integration of the pulsating vacuum sterilizer is relatively high, and the frequency of use is also high, and the probability of failure is also high. To this end, it is necessary to understand the principle of the pulsating vacuum sterilizer, and understand the common failure causes and maintenance measures to increase the utilization rate of the equipment, improve the effect of eliminating the wing, and effectively ensure that the operation is complete and control the infection in the hospital.

1. Working process of pulsating vacuum sterilizer

The complete workflow of the pulsation vacuum sterilizer includes: preparation → pulsation → heating + sterilization + exhaust → drying → end and other processes.

2. Working principle

The pulsation vacuum sterilizer uses saturated steam as the sterilization medium, and adopts the air removal method of mechanical forced pulsation vacuum. After multiple vacuuming and multiple injections of steam alternately, the sterilization chamber reaches a certain degree of vacuum. Fill the saturated steam to achieve the set pressure and temperature, and achieve the purpose of sterilizing the sterilized object. This process includes two stages: pre-vacuum and pulsating vacuum. Pre-vacuum is a method in which high-pressure steam sterilization is performed by vacuuming once before steaming the sterilization chamber, and then enters the steam for sterilization after removing the air in the sterilization chamber as much as possible. Pulsating vacuum is to repeatedly vacuum the sterilization chamber, that is, after the vacuum is drawn once, a certain amount of steam is introduced into the sterilization chamber, so that the remaining air and steam are mixed and reach a certain positive pressure before being pumped. Vacuum, after repeated vacuuming, finally enters the method of steam sterilization, which we call pulsation vacuum. The basic principle of the pulsation real fire fungus is to use the negative pressure generated by the vacuum pump to extract the cold air in the sterilization cabinet, and then input saturated steam to make it penetrate the sterilized items. After pulsing three times, input saturated steam for sterilization, and finally pump Vacuum drying. A complete workflow includes seven processes including preparation, pulsation, heating, sterilization, steam exhaust, drying, and termination.
